Dr. Desiree Shaver - Veterinarian

Dr. Desiree Shaver, is a 2023 graduate of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

With a Master’s degree in Toxicology and a Bachelor’s in Equine Science, she combines a strong academic foundation with a lifelong passion for animal care, sparked by her early experience working for a veterinarian during high school.

Just beginning her professional career, she is eager to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, client education, surgery & rehabilitation, and working with brachycephalic breeds.

Dr. Shaver shares her Berthoud home with her husband, Jarrod, her two son’s Trevor and Hayden, as well as their pug, Bitsy, chihuahua, Lexi, and two cats, Tonks and Raven. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, quilting, crafting, reading, and crochet.
